Great horse lamp This is one of the activities held by the old street during the Spring Festival every year. The lantern is made of wooden material into a horse carrier, with a surface cloth and painted fur. With two people (one behind) stretcher as horses, and children dressed as three Kingdoms and five tigers and other drama groups sitting on horses, imitating the real horse running, jumping, lifelike. When playing, they will be accompanied by Gong and drum trumpet. In 1984, the Gaochun lantern won the first prize in the Jiangsu folk dance appraisal. In 2007, the Gaochun lantern was listed as a national list of intangible cultural heritage protection. |
